Your computer has been hacked or infected with a virus, and when the motherboard blocks connection with the battery it cannot receive power from it. Here's hoping to find any saviors on this legendary forum. You keep your computer plugged in when it doesn’t need to be charged so the battery overheats and after too much over heating the battery basically dies. Then i tested my Charger and Adapter for checking the power output and they were as advertised. As i know how hard it is working in customer support, I didn't want to give that poor woman any more trouble, i figured she had no clue and this was not their most popular issue. When i contacted a HP Support rep late last year, she basically checked the drivers, cleaned some temp junk and called it a day. This has been the Case since 2016, after i made the Switch to Windows 10.(Yes My Windows is also Up-to-date, Fall Creators Update) if i remove the battery and only plug in, the LED power supply stop blinking. I have my drivers up-to-date with BIOS and Chipset Drivers Below are the list of my laptop's problem: - 97 plug in, not charging - the laptop wont turn on without plug in even though i already insert the battery and it hve 97 - LED power supply keep on blinking, when battery was inserted, and its still plug in. This Laptop is HP P045tx, Purchased it in 2014, Came with Windows 8.1, after Windows 10 was released i made the switch and everything was cool, except this.
